Curating Fashion started as a project in May 2012 by MA students from Kingston University studying Curating Contemporary Design and Fashion Journalism. The project was led by Donna Loveday who is Head of Curatorial at the Design Museum, and Judith Watt who is an author, broadcaster and journalist, and the course director for the MA Fashion Journalism course at Kingston University.
Curating Fashion is an online journal which aims to showcase original thinking, through visual commentary and informative writing. It will bring something unique to the exhibitions and raise awareness of design processes involved in the fashion industry, alongside other perspectives on fashion such as sociology and marketing.
Since June 2012, the content, curating and writing is done by Jo Milton and Indira Barve. Indira is an architect and product designer and Jo is a product designer. Both are design curators and researchers with an interest in design processes.
